Last week, some of our upper grade students attended camp. This week, camp is coming to them. Big kudos to the LAUSD Office of Outdoor Education for bringing the Geosphere Van to our school. The van is full of supplies for students to explore scientific concepts and for building cool Earth Science projects. Thank you!

A big thank you to Mr. Valadez, 5th grade teacher, for accompanying and caring for every single one of them for a whole week away from home. We are Glassell Park: SOARING to Victory!

Mr. Aleman paid a visit to Camp Skyhook this afternoon. He enjoyed a nutritious lunch with the 4th and 5th grade students attending, and they told him all about how much they are learning and having fun. He jokingly asked some of them if they want to stay an extra day, and the answer was: "an extra week!" No worries, they are coming back tomorrow.
